SYDNEY BEARS ICE HOCKEY CLUB

WHO WE ARE:

We are the Sydney Bears Ice Hockey Club - one of the largest and most successful recreational hockey clubs in New South Wales.

​

Run by a team of volunteers, the club prides itself on developing the hockey and life skills of our players. Here, attitude comes first, and skills second.

​

We're based at the Macquarie Ice Rink in Sydney's north - our famous red, white and black strip has been a constant presence since the rink opened back in 1982. We also enjoy a fantastic relationship with our sister club of the same name - the AIHL Sydney Bears. Many of our junior players over the years have gone on to represent us at the AIHL and even international level.

The Bears welcome players of all skill levels, and ages - complementing our junior teams with Hockey School programs, competitive hockey for both men and women, as well as our in-house hockey programs for players over 16.
