Atoms are the youngest age division in NSW Ice Hockey. Atoms are for children (boys and girls) aged 11 years and under as at 31st December each year. The Atoms play to non-contact no-slapshot rules.
Atom-aged players have the opportunity to tryout for the NSW state team to participate in the McCrae-Williamson National Tournament. State team tryouts are announced on the IHNSW website. This year the McCrae-Williamson will be held in Adelaide on 29th June – 4th July 2010
Training will take place at Macquarie Ice Rink on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm to 6.30pm during school term. The ice will be shared with the Pee Wees.
Draw
Ice Hockey NSW will issue a draw for the season. The draw will be circulated to you. Contact your team manager to confirm game times.
Ice Hockey NSW may amend the draw during the season. Whilst every effort will be made by the Club, Coach and Team Manager to notify players, you should check www.nswicehockey.com.au periodically to verify game times.
